Let’s get in the water! With our amazing 1-5 radio and 4 professional in water surf coaches we will be Practicing what we call the fundamentals of surfing while having the most fun. Expect our coaches to be throwing out hoots, Shakas 🤙 and high fives all day.
Our goal at Beyond Surf is to help every client understand ocean safety while learning to surf and have fun! Unlike most surf school we are very focused on with teaching the proper form of surfing hint the word we use “Coaches” instead of instructors. Our “coaches” at beyond surf are former professional level surfers and take water safety very seriously. We are all cpr certified as well as first aid medical certified.

Soft boards and wetsuits are included in every lesson we pride ourselves in using only the best beginner boards and wetsuits you can find. If you have your own board of choice bring it!
Practice working on proper positioning on board, paddling technique, and popping up to feet. Water assessment, The ocean is constantly changing. Knowing the tides, swell, and winds, and currents are a very important aspect we teach everyone.
We are very focused on with teaching the proper form of surfing hint the word we use “Coaches” instead of instructors. Our “coaches” at beyond surf are former professional level surfers and will be in the water analyzing, teaching and motivating through the lessons
*Beyond Surf SD is a permitted surf school and is a partner of the city of Coronado.A city surcharge of 16% is added to all surf lessons that take place in Coronado.
